Our mission is to motivate and empower future leaders to achieve their goals through guidance and growth opportunities.
We know some internship programs can consist of an intern doing medial work that might make them feel more like an aid than a valued member of the team. That’s not what we are looking for. GadellNet’s G3 Intern Program has been created around ensuring our interns get the most out of their time with us through meeting goals, receiving guidance, and achieving growth. It’s a great experience for you and it’s an opportunity for us to bring in new people with fresh perspectives.
When you apply for a G3 internship, we will review your resume, and if you meet our initial criteria, we will send you through two rounds of interviews (don’t worry, we make our interns feel pretty relaxed).
If you’re offered the position, we’ll work with you on your schedule, help you define some goals and potential project work.
You’ll have a manager, mentor and an intern buddy – someone who is a more experienced intern or a past intern with GadellNet. They’ll be there for you every day you work as a resource. They’ll help you learn as you go and assign you projects to complete.
We want your first day to be as comfortable as possible. Once you walk through our doors, you’ll meet with someone from Human Resources, your manager and your mentor. You’ll then receive your hardware, a little tutorial, and some training materials. You’ll spend the rest of the day job shadowing your mentor.
During your first week, you’ll shadow your mentor, meet with people leaders and the executive team at GadellNet, and we’ll organize a fun event so you can get to know other interns and GadellNet full-time employees.
As an intern at GadellNet, you’ll primarily work on a project or set of goals that are based around your major and the needs of your intern manager. You will also spend time with different departments at GadellNet, so you can get a little bit of context around the rest of the company.
You will have check-ins with your manager every two weeks where you can talk about what you need, how things are going, some metrics you’ve met (or not, it’s ok), and any other feedback you’d like to provide. These check-ins are an opportunity for you to be heard, for you to receive feedback, and for you to get that guidance that will lead to your growth.
Interns are offered monthly lunch and learns with topics that range from where the tech field is going to how to spice up your resume.
You will also be able to participate in a volunteer day or junior achievement day in your time at GadellNet, as well.
By the end of your program, you should expect to have completed a project and/or metrics that were set at the beginning of your internship. You’ll be able to participate in an exit-interview where we solicit your candid feedback. We will offer you a professional recommendation if you should need it.
Recruit your replacement:Not staying on at GadellNet or we’ve offered you a full-time role? If you’re able to recruit your intern replacement, we’ll give you a $100 bonus.
Whether you stay or go, you’ll receive a G3 intern badge as a memento of your time with GadellNet.
