To celebrate Chad Nelson’s tenth anniversary with GadellNet, we decided to put a top 10 together all about Chad. He brings so much to the table and we honestly don’t know where we would be without his technical expertise and his awesome attitude.

Work Ethic

Chad’s work ethic is incredible. He keeps the customer in mind when he works through a problem and fever loses site of getting the customer up and running. His priorities are always customer-centric. He is always willing to go above and beyond to ensure deadlines are met.

Mentoring

Chad’s intimate knowledge in his areas of expertise is incredible. What’s better? He is willing to share that knowledge and take the time to teach another employee how to troubleshoot, debug, or anything else.

The GNet Art Project

That big circle in the atrium started out as a fun project idea that Chad wrote all the code for to make a reality. Chad worked hard on that project and never gave up. Many Tuesday nights and slices of pizza were dedicated to that project and Chad was always there.

Team Player

Chad is a team player, even described as a utility player. You can count on him to stick with something and lend a hand when you need it. All you need to do is look at the above points.

Humble

Chad is smart, capable, makes a true impact with our clients, and stays humble through it all. He has never made a situation about him, he never complains, he handles issues in stride.

Sense of Humor

Do you remember his elegant scar avatar? It was part of a long-running joke and brightened a lot of days. Chad is quick-witted, clever, and has the perfect timing of a stand-up comedian.

Expertise

As we have hinted, Chad has some really critical expertise. He is an essential resource for SQL knowledge and application support. What he brings to the table enables us to better help our clients.

Beer Fanatic and Bear Fights

If you know Chad, you know he is a pretty big craft beer guy. So much so that at the Flying Saucer, they used to have his name up! Chad has also fought some bears, but just for clarity, Nick doesn’t allow bear fights during company-sanctioned holiday parties anymore.

Personable

Chad is the kind of guy you want to get to know (see above). He is incredibly personable and a super fun hang. Before the hiring process had been perfectly fine-tuned as it is now, we were glad to find an engineer to bring on really early that could be so personable.

Dedication

Chad has been with GadellNet for 10 years. He has been dedicated to our clients and to our mission. Without Chad joining our team early on, we would have had a huge gap on our team and GadellNet would not be where it is today.
