Hydro Flask
I’m a runner and a biker. I don’t take my water bottles lightly. The Hydro Flask is the perfect, portable, vacuum insulated flask. I appreciate the soft strap and the sturdy construction. You can easily personalize your Hydro Flask and make it your own with different sizes and color combinations. This isn’t just an attractive water bottle, either. It gets the job done. You don’t have to be a hardcore athlete to appreciate keeping your cold stuff cold, however.

Forerunner 935
The Forerunner 935 is the latest runner’s watch from Garmin. I was hesitant to make the leap from my Apple Watch at first, especially with the price tag, but I am glad I did. It’s lightweight and offers tracks running, sprinting, swimming, biking, and of course, my favorite, triathlons. It has the ability to analyze my technique and can guide you through your workout with TraningPeaks. This watch really does it all. It may not be the watch for everyone, but I can’t imagine training for another Ironman without it.

Ok, I promise, this is almost the last running-obsessed item on the list. FitRadio creates a mix for you based on how fast you want to run. Need I say more?

TinyPULSE
Alright, back in the office for this one. TinyPULSE is a mainstay at GadellNet because it allows us to keep up with employee happiness, get answers to important questions, and send each other little messages of encouragement. This is also a place where employees can anonymously submit any concerns, suggestions, or complaints. We also crowdsource a lot of our strategic decisions – allowing everyone in our company to be a part of the future of the company.

Audible
My commute isn’t too far, but I do a lot of driving between our offices, located in Carmel, IN and St. Louis. That 4 ½ hour trip is a great time to catch up on some reading, so to speak. A great book that I have listened to on more than one occasion, is The Subtle Art of Not Giving a F*ck. This books helps you to identify your values, prioritize your time and focus your stress in the right places. Otherwise, the subscription gives me plenty of options to learn, grow and evolve.

Blue Apron
Meal delivery services are a life-saver for my busy family. This allows my wife and I to have wonderful grown-up meals through the week without having to put much thought into it. The meals show up at our doorstep, we take turns making them, and we don’t get lazy about just eating whatever the kids will eat that night. There are several meal delivery services out there including Plated, Hello Fresh, Home Chef, Freshly, and Marth and Marley Spoon. Each has its pros and cons, but many of them are locally sourced, which we love. With so many on the market, you are sure to find a delivery service that meets any dietary needs you have.

prAna Shorts
prAna Brion Shorts from REI have been a staple of my summer. They’re a must. These shorts have a casual look, but they are water repellent and abraision-resistant. These shorts are great to throw on Saturday morning to run some errands and I can keep them on if we take the kids for a nature hike or if . They look casual but they work hard.

Black Mirror
If I get the chance to have a mini Netflix binge, I go for Black Mirror. It’s a techy thriller that will have you asking, “What?!” Each season follows a different set of characters as the lines between artificial intelligence and real life are blurred.

Remote Thermometer for the Grill
The ThermoPro TP07 makes weekend cookouts so much better. You insert a probe, set a temp, and your remote will tell you when that temp is met, and later on, if the temp gets too high or too low. The probe can be set up in the grill or stuck into the meat itself. You can set the grill up and forget it, until your handy alarm goes off. I can now entertain while the food is going and I love it.
